Munnar Trip.

We had been to Munnar on this May first weekend.
We’ve started from office at 7 PM we got the passenger at Bellandur and Karmelaram railway station.
We’ve reached hosur at 8.30., our cab was little late to pick up us from there. Then, we had a very good, delicious dinner at “Arusuvai Unavagam” in Hosur. After that,

We’ve started our journey. It was also started raining heavily in that night. We were not able to drive fast in that rain. We reached Salem, Palladam, Udumalai, then Permit for Pollachi border, then crossed TamilNadu Border., went into the forest route single road. It was fully dried forest. But ok., we can enjoy that path.

Slowly we reached Munnar by 12 Noon but got stuck in traffic. At last we reached munnar bus stand by Saturday 3 PM. Luckily our guide Devaraj has arranged an accommodation in White Peach Home stay. It was a lovely & affordable place to relax. It's located in Chithirapuram 13KM away from Munnar towards Kochin road. We love that place very much. We’ve paid 3500 for 4 double bedded rooms. Once we board in to the home stay., it was started raining heavily there. We’ve enjoyed that rain and played little outside & taken some snaps.
A new atmosphere, different environment what we see in movies. A place which anyone love to live there.

Next morning., we have started our tour. We had been to some view points towards Mattupatty.
Elephant Trekking was awesome. Your backbone aligned with Elephants bone and shakes when it moves around. That also uphill journey for a while. Really fantastic experience. 350 per head for 20 min ride is little more, but ok., we enjoyed it. Then we were not able to step in Mattupatty Dam boating as it was fully crowded, traffic was terrible.
Then we came back for shopping., spices homemade chocolates, nuts… etc. all are awesome.
We took the down lane via Theni Route. What can I say? Everywhere tea estates. Full of greenery.. within half an hour our return journey, it has started raining again.
Raining, fogs, green estates, little sunlight reflected in some pure white clouds… cool air in the vehicle., Lovely experience.
We have taken around 2 hours to get down from the hill station. Then there was no rain. Temperature become normal, soon it became hot. Our Cab Driver., he is an ________., he didn’t even drive more than 60 KM per hour. He drove the Tempo traveler like a government bus. Also he slept in the middle of the journey. I and Shivani sat next to him and keep on speaking till we reach Bangalore. But still that guy was in drowsy mood only. At last we reach our home in Monday morning around 6 AM.
